Quick answer

For Lumps of Clay, search Revelwood for large orange-brown deposits and mine the material. The game-data reference lists open-air deposits around Lumenlight Cave and Lush Pasture. Use the linked map as a starting reference and confirm the inventory item before digging out an entire hillside. Clay deposit reference.

Choose a landmark, then verify the material

Look up one named landmark you have already reached rather than making an unfamiliar long-distance trip for the largest deposit on a list. Terrain access matters more than a headline deposit size. This guide does not provide independently recorded coordinates or guarantee that a particular approach is safe.

Mine a small sample first. If your inventory shows ordinary Stone, inspect the deposit boundary before continuing. Once you have positively identified Lump of Clay, decide how much your immediate crafting plan needs and leave enough bag space for it.

Build the Kiln before planning brick batches

The listed Kiln recipe at the Carpenter asks for 50 Revelwood Stone, 10 Lumps of Clay, 10 Metal Scraps and 2 Twigs. Rescuing the Carpenter is the listed unlock. That initial ten-clay cost is separate from the clay you later put into bricks. Kiln recipe.

Turn raw clay into Fired Bricks

At a Kiln, the listed Fired Bricks recipe uses 1 Lump of Clay and 1 accepted wood per brick, with a 30-second craft time. The data also lists the Carpenter and collected Clay among the unlock requirements. Fired Bricks recipe.

For example, if you need a new Kiln and then 20 bricks, the combined clay budget is 30: ten for the station plus twenty for the brick queue. The bricks also require twenty wood inputs. Twenty consecutive thirty-second crafts represent ten minutes of listed station time, excluding travel and interruptions.

Keep the two inventories separate

Raw clay and Fired Bricks are different items. Read the next station's ingredient list before baking every lump you own. Keep a small raw reserve until you know whether your next project asks for clay directly.

If the queue is unavailable, check the Carpenter unlock, the placed station and the exact input names. Adding more raw clay cannot solve a missing station requirement.
